Where do I even begin? We are a family of 9, yes, you heard me right, and we actually have 7 children. I’m sure that you probably want to ask “How do you do it?” Well that’s what I’m here to talk about. With a large family such as ours, we realized early on that we needed to figure out a way to make sure we were still getting all the necessities and not breaking the bank in the process. Long story short, our spending habits were less than stellar, and it was leaving us flat broke by the end of the month. Living paycheck to paycheck is not fun at all. But where do you begin? The first thing that we had to make sure to do was set a budget, and don’t worry; I will be able to help you all with this as well. A budget will be your lifesaver, and help you to stay sane through all the madness. Throughout your relationship with myself you will begin to learn just how you and your family can get all the things you need and want, and save money in the process.
Sue’s Mission: My friends and family always asked how we were able to support such a large family, while being able to save and work with such a small budget. After teaching them the ropes and taking them by the hand, they were able to see just how much you can save and still live well, without spending a large amount of money. Well that is where Thrifty Sue came about. I wanted a way to reach out to others in the same situations that may need a bit of a guide to get them through tough times, and help them to understand just how much is out there and for the taking without spending your way into the poor house.
Sue’s Posts: This is where the good stuff is, I will be able to show you just how to save money on groceries, everyday items, and the household necessities.
